Mr. Crotty is a Managing Director with HDH Advisors, LLC with over twenty years of experience in business appraisals, ESOP’s, litigation support, and corporate finance. Mr. Crotty has testified as an expert witness in over eighty (80+) court proceedings in Iowa, Illinois, Georgia and Canada. Mr. Crotty was elected by his industry peers to the National American Society of Appraisers’ (“ASA”) Business Valuation Discipline Committee (2022’–2025′) and was subsequently appointed to their Board of Examiners (2022′-2023′). He was also elected and serves on the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts’ (“NACVA”) Valuation Credentialing Board (2022’–2025′). He previously served on the NACVA Standards Board (2018′-2021′). Mr. Crotty is trained in Mediation, Collaborative Law and has been court appointed as a Forensic Accountant and as Special Master on Valuation in the Iowa Business Specialty Court Pilot Project. NACVA and the Consultants’ Training Institute selected Mr. Crotty as a 2016 “Top 40 Under Forty” National Honoree. He is one of less than a handful of professionals nationwide accredited by all (4) four major business valuation institutions (AICPA, ASA, NACVA, IBA).
